Tickets Now On Sale for Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration
Tickets for the 33rd annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration are now on sale. Tickets for Syracuse University students are $15. Blackboard Ally Available to Help Faculty Make Digital Course Content More Accessible
University faculty members have a new tool for providing students with accessible course documents. Blackboard Ally, an accessibility plugin, will be integrated into all Syracuse University courses in Blackboard starting in the 2018 spring semester. Alumnus Kwang Tan, Ph.D., Makes $3.5 Million Gift in Support of Student Health, Wellness and Recreation
A $3.5 million gift from alumnus Kwang Tan G’73, Ph.D., will help ensure Syracuse University students have access to comprehensive health, wellness and recreation services and resources for generations to come. Tan’s gift will support significant renovations to Archbold Gymnasium, which includes the creation of the Barnes Center at The Arch, a new state-of-the-art, health, wellness and recreation complex.

Information and Communication Technology Accessibility Policy Approved; Work Continues to Enhance Digital Accessibility
Following months of constructive discussion and community input, the Chancellor’s Executive Team has approved a new University policy governing information technology accessibility. The Information and Communication Technology Accessibility Policy—which will be published and go into effect on Jan. 1, 2018—affirms the University’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Syracuse Symposium to Present Multicultural Celebration Dec. 2
Syracuse Symposium continues its yearlong theme of “Belonging” with a celebration of multicultural food, music and dance.
On Saturday, Dec. 2, Syracuse students, along with locally resettled refugees and immigrants, will present “Music and Food in Multicultural Syracuse: Performing New American Traditions” from 6-8:30 p.m. in Falk College.
