The Office of Diversity and Inclusion is pleased to support diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility opportunities, programs, and initiatives for campus members.
Requesting Co-Sponsorship or Funding
Co-sponsored funding from the Office of Diversity and Inclusion is typically granted to support SU events, initiatives, or programs that promote diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility (DEIA) across campus.
Requests to fund conferences or study away programs for individual students, staff, or faculty should be directed to the leadership of the individual’s department or academic program.
Please submit funding requests at least four weeks in advance of the program or event.
Examples of previous approved Office of Diversity and Inclusion funding or co-sponsorship requests include:
- AAPI’s WWII Veterans Event, AAPI Affinity Group professional development workshops
- MLK Jr. Public Affairs Lecture
- MexSA Dia de los Muertos/Day of the Dead
- LGBTQ+ Kink 101 Workshop, CNY Pride Festival
- Disability Pride Week, DCC Creative Arts Therapy Workshop
- Student Empowerment Day
